Community Nurses
The nursing team carry out nursing care for the patient at home and liaise daily with the GP’s to ensure continuity of care. They are based at Hunter Health Centre. Please telephone 03003030107.
Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social well being and also support women with postnatal depression.
